Atlas octagonal barriers are built of eight Atlas barriers, consisting of two cross beams attached to the corner posts and supported by one bracket in the middle. The composite product has the shape of an equilateral octagon. All posts are equipped with flanges to increase impact resistance and absorb energy. The barrier is attached to the surface in 16 places - in 8 corners (corner posts) and in the middle of each side (8 central brackets). The number and length of the sides of the octagon can be changed, increased or decreased to suit the object to be protected and the expected forces during impact.
